Shannon, I feel that in my fingertips. For so long I'd disregard anything less than "5000 words and six solid hours or writing" to the point where I just stopped. If I'd planned to start at 10am, but it was 10:03 then the only writing I'd do was writing that off until the next day. But then I realised that we are writers, we write, we are made entirely of words - we don't care about NUMBERS. So why are we letting them dictate us?
